Where did my file go?

When a tool finishes, tap Save to Files to choose a folder, or Share to send it to another app. The app also keeps its own copy of your recent results: open the Files tab to share one again, save it somewhere else, or continue with it in another tool. Your original file is never changed.

I forgot the password I set

We cannot recover it, and neither can anyone else — the file is encrypted, and the password never left your phone. If you still have the original file from before you added the password, use that. PDF Medic only removes a password that you type in.

It says the PDF has limits set by its owner

Some PDFs open freely but block printing, copying or editing. Those limits were set by whoever made the file, and PDF Medic removes them only with the owner's permissions password. Ask the person or office that sent you the file.

It warns me the PDF is digitally signed

A digital signature proves a file has not been changed since it was signed. Any change — a watermark, a password, a filled field — breaks that proof, and PDF apps will then show the signature as invalid. If you may need to prove the document is authentic, keep the original and work on a copy.

The form says it has no boxes to fill

Most forms are just printed lines with nothing interactive behind them. In Fill & sign, tap Text, then tap the page where the text should go, and type. Pinch to zoom in on a small box; use A− and A+ to fit the text. Ticks, crosses, the date and your signature work the same way.

My file must be under a certain size

Open Compress, choose Under a size, and pick the limit. If the file cannot be made that small — usually because it is mostly text, which is already compact — the app tells you the smallest size it reached instead of pretending.

My scan looks dark or crooked

In Scan, tap the page, then Crop and drag the four corners to the edges of the paper; the page is straightened for you. Under Look, try Enhance to even out shadows, or Black & white for plain text.

How do I remove the "Made with PDF Medic" mark?

When you save, choose to watch one short video and that file is saved without the mark. To remove it from everything, permanently, buy Lifetime — a single payment, not a subscription.

I paid for Lifetime and it is not unlocked

Open Settings and tap Restore purchase. That asks the App Store or Google Play directly, which is where the record lives — we never see your payment. Restoring works on any device signed in to the same store account. If it still does not unlock, write to us with the date of purchase.

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google, because the payment was taken by them. On iOS use reportaproblem.apple.com; on Android use the Play Store order history.
