I need help with my employer now

Haqdar cannot act for you, and neither can we. In the app, open More → Emergency for the offices and helplines in Bahrain, and More → Claim gratuity for the steps of a claim. Your embassy's labour section can also help.

I lost my records

Everything is stored on your phone and nowhere else. That is deliberate — it is why there is no account and why nothing you enter is sent anywhere — but it also means we hold no copy that could be restored. Deleting the app, or using "Clear my details", removes the records for good. If your phone is backed up by Apple or Google, restoring that backup may bring them back.

A figure looks wrong

Check your start date, your basic salary and social allowance under More → Your job; every figure is worked out from those. Each figure shows the article of law behind it, and "Show working" shows each step. If you still think the law is recorded wrongly, write to us with the article number.

I am not getting reminders

Check that notifications are allowed for Haqdar in your phone's settings, and that reminders are switched on in the app's Settings. Document reminders come 90, 30, 14 and 7 days before an expiry date.

I cannot reveal my figures

If you switched on the Face ID lock, the app asks your phone to confirm it is you; your passcode works when Face ID does not. The lock can be changed in Settings, which also asks for Face ID or your passcode.

Languages

English, Arabic, Malayalam, Hindi, Urdu, Bengali and Tagalog. Change it in Settings → Language. If a translation reads wrongly, please tell us the screen and the language.
