Why Haqdar exists

Millions of people work in the Gulf far from home, and many are not sure what the law says they are owed when they take leave, work late or finish a contract. The answers exist, but they sit in long legal texts, in a language that may not be their own.

Haqdar, which means "the one who is entitled", puts those answers on the worker's own phone. Every figure is calculated there and carries the article of law that produced it, so it can be shown to an employer, a labour office or a court.

What Haqdar does

Available now for Bahrain

Your money, by the law

  • End-of-service gratuity, dated like a receipt
  • Annual leave balance and its cash value
  • Overtime at the statutory day and night rates, with a planner
  • Sick leave across the statutory pay tiers
  • The final settlement, whatever the reason for leaving
  • Payslip deductions checked against the legal limits

Your work, on record

Employer, position, contract terms and wage history. Where a contract term falls below the law, Haqdar says so and shows the legal figure.

Your rights, in writing

Short, cited answers on passports, wage protection, transfers, waivers and more. Each can be shown in Arabic at work, or shared as an image.

Your documents

Expiry reminders for your CPR, passport and permits, and those of your family, 90, 30, 14 and 7 days before they run out. An evidence pack gathers your records into a single PDF.

Where to go

Labour offices, the LMRA, emergency lines and the eKey helpline, with opening hours and what to bring.

Private by design

Haqdar has no account and collects no personal data. Your wage, dates and documents are stored on your phone and nowhere else, which is also why we hold no copy that could be restored if the app is deleted. You can require Face ID or your passcode before your figures are shown. Only features that plainly need the internet, like the news feed, use it. The full details are in the privacy policy.

Seven languages

English, Arabic, Malayalam, Hindi, Urdu, Bengali and Filipino, so the law can be read in the language a worker thinks in.

Independent

Haqdar is an independent app made by Dexaloop. It is not affiliated with any government, ministry or authority, and it provides information, not legal advice. The figures come from the official sources: Bahrain's Legislation and Legal Opinion Commission, the Social Insurance Organisation and the Labour Market Regulatory Authority.
